For me it’s all about wanting to help educate, inform, motivate and inspire as many people as possible about the positive effects of an active lifestyle. Having been a skinny kid when I was younger, it’s been a deeply personal journey these past 30 years since I started working out at the age of 26.
Having graduated high school in 1982 and not being quite 6 feet tall, but then growing 6 inches in the 2 years after high school, I found myself at 6’6 and about 165 pounds in 1990 when I arrived at March ARB in California. A few weeks later I would start working out (strength training) for the first time. I was hooked as I started to notice positive changes in my body as I started to put on a little weight.
That was the beginning of my journey. I hope to have others join me.
